The last gate

ACBuy costs, parcel shipping and delivery

Keep the goods payment separate from the parcel payment. Use the final agent quote for shipping, and check your destination customs authority for current import requirements.

If it does get taxed

The tax is yours, and so is the paperwork. ACBuy states that on routes that are not duty free and do not support the European import scheme, customs clearance fees are borne by the customer.

Inspections are generally random, but a parcel that looks unusual gets attention: large size, heavy weight, or sensitive contents. In that case customs will usually contact the recipient for an invoice or clearance documents. If they cannot reach you, or you do not cooperate, the parcel can be returned or destroyed, and those costs land on the recipient too.

Keep the purchase invoice and parcel records accessible, and answer any genuine request for clearance information through the carrier or customs channel.

Fees and currency: build the complete budget

Write down the product price × quantity, seller’s domestic delivery, any agent service or optional warehouse charges, international shipping, and any destination taxes or carrier clearance charges. An unknown field is not a zero: ask for a quote before deciding that the order fits your budget.

If your payment provider quotes CNY per one unit of your home currency, divide the CNY total by that rate, then add separately quoted payment fees. For example only, 350 CNY at 7 CNY per currency unit is 50 units before fees. Your checkout exchange rate may differ from a public market rate.

Choose packing and a shipping route

Check the parcel’s measured weight and dimensions after packing. Bulky goods may be billed using volumetric weight, using the divisor shown by the route. Compare quotes for the same destination and packing request; a cheap estimate based only on product weight is not the finished parcel price.

Ask before removing shoe boxes or branded packaging if you need them. Keep protection for fragile items. Check accepted contents, tracking, compensation conditions and the estimated delivery range for each available route before paying.

Tracking, receiving and reporting a problem

Save the parcel number and shipping line. Follow the carrier link shown in your account; the first scan may follow label creation. For a delay, ask the agent which carrier has the parcel and what investigation is available for that route.

On delivery, photograph visible damage and keep the label and packaging. If something is missing or damaged, gather the parcel ID, packing/QC records and clear photos, then contact the agent promptly within the applicable claim window. A claim is assessed under the purchased route’s terms.
